Unicaja and the Bishopric of Almería have formalized a financial collaboration agreement to offer banking products and services under specific conditions to the diocese and its associated entities.

The agreement, signed by Unicaja's Eastern Andalusia Territorial Director, Juan Cayuela Pérez, and the Bishop of Almería, Antonio Gómez Cantero, will provide the Bishopric and diocesan institutions with a financial offering tailored to their management and operational needs, potentially benefiting over 250 diocesan entities.
Juan Cayuela highlighted Unicaja's commitment to Almería and to institutions fostering social cohesion. He emphasized the bank's aim to be accessible and provide tailored solutions for relevant groups and organizations in the region, reinforcing its historical ties with the province.
This collaboration aligns with Unicaja's focus on proximity and its commitment to the territories where it operates. In Almería, the institution maintains a strong presence and close relationships with families, businesses, self-employed individuals, and public administrations.
The agreement reinforces Unicaja's strategy of offering specialized and adapted services, in line with its 2025-2027 Strategic Plan, which aims to strengthen ties with various groups and institutions and develop value-added solutions.
