Ubago Group has announced an investment plan of 30 million euros until 2029, with 15 million allocated for 2026, to strengthen its industrial expansion, technological innovation, and production process improvements in Andalusia.

This significant investment will focus on implementing state-of-the-art freezing tunnels and comprehensive digitalization of data collection at the plant. These areas are crucial for the group's future expansion and for ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in its operations. These actions complement recent technological improvements, such as the robotization of filling and packaging handling, and artificial vision systems for quality control.
The announcement was made during a visit by a representative of the Andalusian Government to the company's plant in La Línea de la Concepción. During the tour, the representative highlighted Ubago Group's strategic role in the Andalusian food industry, describing it as a “historic and extraordinary” company that generates progress, employment, and well-being in the region. They also emphasized the group's solidity, which boasts an annual turnover of 270 million euros and processes over 66,000 tons of fish, leading the national market in products such as smoked salmon and canned goods.

"A historic and extraordinary company that generates progress, employment, and well-being not only in La Línea and Campo de Gibraltar, but throughout Andalusia."
