Dual Vocational Training is consolidating as an essential pathway to connect young talent with business needs. In this model, the Company Tutor for Vocational Training plays a fundamental role in ensuring a quality training experience and facilitating the integration of future professionals into the job market.
To strengthen this key figure, the Chambers of Commerce are promoting the Training Program for Company Tutors for Vocational Training. This initiative, driven by Cámara de España and co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), is part of the FP Pyme 2025-2027 Program.
This training is the only one endorsed by Cámara de España and recognized under a specific agreement with the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training, and Sports. Unlike similar courses, it stems from an agreement to promote the professionalization of the company tutor role within the VET system. AENOR will be responsible for its delivery and the issuance of completion certificates.
According to Royal Decree 659/2023, the dual company tutor is designated to plan, develop, and evaluate the training undertaken by students during their internship. This figure is crucial for connecting the educational environment with business reality. A trained tutor improves student onboarding, plans tailored training paths, monitors learning, assesses competencies, maintains fluid communication with educational centers, and ensures compliance with Dual Vocational Training regulations.
Dual Vocational Training has become an essential tool for businesses. Having prepared tutors not only enhances the student's training experience but also allows companies to actively participate in nurturing the talent they will need in the coming years.
The program is aimed at employees, professionals currently acting as VET student tutors, human resources managers, middle managers, and those who are expected to take on tutoring roles in future Dual Vocational Training projects.
Two levels are offered: Initial Level, for professionals new to the company tutor role, and Advanced Level, for professionals with a minimum of 4 years of accredited experience in tutoring VET students. Both levels share a common knowledge base.
Enrollment is open. The Chamber of Commerce invites companies to identify professionals who can perform tutoring functions and take advantage of this specialized, recognized training aligned with current Vocational Training needs. For more information, contact aocon@camarabda.com.
