This event, which has become a key meeting point for professionals and gastronomy enthusiasts, features the participation of 50 companies adhering to the Degusta Jaén strategy and five under the Sabor Granada brand.
“"This fair has allowed, throughout its different editions, to showcase the quality of Jaén's agri-food products, as well as to provide a meeting space for food, gastronomy, and catering professionals and to foster commercial relationships among them."
Over its three-day duration, the fair will host more than 40 free activities, including gastronomic tastings, showcooking sessions, business meetings, product tastings, competitions, initiatives for children, and musical, dance, and comedy performances.
On Saturday and Sunday, the event will be open to the general public, while Monday, April 20, will be exclusively dedicated to professionals from the sector. In addition to the exhibition area for purchasing products, a gastronomic zone has been set up where the public can sample fresh seafood, Segureño lamb, and tapas prepared by restaurants associated with Degusta Jaén.
Among the highlighted activities, the “Gastronomic Challenge” has taken place with the participation of chefs from Degusta Jaén restaurants and renowned influencers. There will also be tastings of extra virgin olive oil, wines, and cheeses from Jaén, with the collaboration of the Jaén Sommeliers Association, the Sierra Mágina Designation of Origin, and the Jaén Olive Oil PGI.
Children will have a special role at this fair, with a play area, inflatables, workshops, and children's games. They have also participated in the Peque Chef initiative and in cooking workshops dedicated to gluten-free pastries, including a blind tasting game of Degusta Jaén products. This Saturday will also host the final of the Degusta Jaén Family Cooking Contest.
The cultural program for this fair also includes today's performance by young Jaén native Lucas Paulano, winner of the La Voz Kids 2025 program, as well as comedian Pepe “El Caja”, the “Lidia García Escribano” dance school, and singer-songwriter Joselete Quesada. The fair will reopen its doors on Sunday from 11:00 to 19:00.
