This initiative seeks to facilitate the integration of young graduates into the research field, allowing them to gain professional experience in a specialized center. The offered positions are for Higher Technicians in the Manufacturing of Pharmaceutical, Biotechnological, and Related Products.
General requirements include holding a university degree (licentiate, engineering, architecture, bachelor's) or vocational training (technician or higher technician), being between 16 and 29 years old at the time of contract formalization, being unemployed and registered as a job seeker, and not having prior professional experience as a higher graduate. Specific training, language, or other curricular merit requirements are also stipulated depending on the position.
The seven positions are distributed across different research groups at the IIQ, covering areas such as Asymmetric Synthesis and Functional Nanosystems, Design of Organometallic Molecules and Applications, support for Structural and Functional Proteins, Organometallic Synthesis and Catalytic Applications, the Glycosystems Laboratory, the development of Catalysts for Industrial Processes, and Biomolecular Interactions and Structural Glycobiology.
The tasks to be performed vary by group, including synthesis and purification of compounds, structural characterization, database management, sample preparation for biological assays, optimization of procedures, technical-administrative support for R&D+i projects, and the use of advanced techniques such as computational chemistry and artificial intelligence.
