The Jaén Exhibition and Congress Palace hosted the XII Degusta Jaén Awards ceremony, an event that recognizes the commitment to quality and tradition within the province's agri-food sector.

The XII Degusta Jaén Awards ceremony took place this Friday, honoring various companies and professionals for their dedication to excellence. Among the recipients were 'Apisierra' from Pozo Alcón, 'Mermeladas y Licores Santa Claudia' from Alcalá la Real, 'La Jamonería de Paco' from Jaén, 'La Despensa de Paraíso de Bardazoso' from Villanueva del Arzobispo, the 'Antique' restaurant in Úbeda, and the chef from the 'Ajhito' restaurant in the capital.
During the event, tribute was also paid to 36 companies with over half a century of history and another four that have surpassed a century of existence, emphasizing the importance of tradition and continuity in the sector.

"With these awards, we distinguish a way of doing things based on product care, service, respect for tradition, and the pursuit of excellence. But they also represent the ability to compete and reach consumers with quality as a calling card. Companies, businesses, and restaurants that are committed to local and authentic products."
