The Protected Designation of Origin (DOP) Priego de Córdoba has been recognized at the 11th National Extra Virgin Olive Oil Quality Contest held as part of Fercam in Manzanares (Ciudad Real).

The brand Olibrácana, produced by SCA Nuestra Señora del Carmen de Almedinilla and protected by the DOP Priego de Córdoba, achieved third prize in the Sweet Green Fruity category. This competition is considered one of the most significant in the national olive oil sector.
This eleventh edition of the contest saw a record participation with 57 samples from eight provinces and four autonomous communities, marking a 78% increase compared to the previous year.
