The Pozoblanco City Council has announced the official completion of the land readjustment project for the La Emiliana Industrial Sector. This milestone ends nearly 30 years of procedures and bureaucratic difficulties, officially converting rustic land into urban land.
This step legalizes 137,052 square meters and removes the 32 owners who make up the Compensation Board, created in 2017, from their 'irregular' situation. The official recognition of these facilities as legitimate industrial and economic uses will now allow entrepreneurs to access financing tools, formalize mortgages, and apply for aid and credit lines to promote new projects.
Mayor Santiago Cabello celebrated the achievement, calling it a 'historic day' for Pozoblanco. He highlighted that it resolves one of the municipality's 'most serious and entrenched urban and industrial problems,' thanking the patience, unity, and economic effort of the owners and the Compensation Board, as well as the involved technicians.
The next phase will focus on the drafting and execution of the urbanization project. The park is poised to become a strategic commercial and industrial space for small and medium-sized enterprises, noted for its excellent roadside location and connection to the future northern ring road.
In parallel, the Government team continues to work on the creation of the new Dehesa Boyal II Industrial Park and has set the goal of legalizing the San Gregorio Industrial Park.
