The developer of the new leisure, dining, and cultural complex in the historic 1905 railway station in Cádiz has initiated the selection process for restaurant operators, aiming for establishments to be operational by spring 2027.

The company responsible for transforming Cádiz's old train station into a leisure and hospitality hub has set a three-month deadline to receive proposals from businesses interested in occupying its premises. This process, running from May to July, will coincide with the processing of the municipal building permit.
The commercialization of the spaces has been entrusted to a consulting firm, which previously participated in a similar project. A technical committee, comprising experts in various areas such as concept, quality, investment, and differentiation, will evaluate the received proposals starting in September.

"The developer will be very restrictive when filling this building, prioritizing the quality and service to be offered."

The plan is for the opening of the selected restaurant businesses to coincide with the completion of the general renovation works of the venue, driven by the developer Driblo SL, the project concessionaire. The entire old station space is expected to be operational by spring 2027.
Among the complex's main attractions is the opening of the Gran Café de Cádiz, a 1,200 square meter establishment that will become one of the largest cafes in the country. The station's renovation will require an estimated investment of 13 million euros, of which 2.5 million will be allocated to the café.
