The technology services company NTT DATA has opened a new headquarters in Almería, with plans to hire 350 new professionals in Andalusia this year, driving innovation in areas such as artificial intelligence and digital transformation.

NTT DATA, a company specializing in technology services and digital business, has inaugurated a new office in Almería. This expansion aims to strengthen its presence in the Andalusian community, where a 12% increase in its workforce is expected with the addition of over 350 professionals throughout this year.
The Almería headquarters, which already employs 130 professionals, is located on Lima Street and will facilitate the development of innovation projects for local, national, and international clients. The facilities combine in-person and remote work models, offering flexibility and adapting to both professional needs and project requirements.

"The opening of this new headquarters in Almería reflects our commitment to Andalusia as a priority region and to the development of local talent. We will continue to bet on innovation and technological talent to generate qualified employment opportunities and contribute to the economic and social growth of the territory."

the company's management
This growth is based on the strong talent ecosystem in the province of Almería, fostered by the University of Almería and a network of highly qualified Vocational Training centers. The company has doubled its workforce in the southern region, exceeding 3,000 professionals, and plans to offer over 400 internship opportunities in Andalusia for young university and professional institute students until 2026.
In addition to Almería, NTT DATA has offices in Málaga, Jaén, Granada, and two offices in Seville. One of its main objectives is to promote the use of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and process automation, both in the business and public sectors. An example of their work is the new Citizen Folder for the Junta de Andalucía, which since its implementation in 2024 has registered over 600,000 inquiries and 180,000 certificates in its first eight months.
