A hotel in Marbella has been distinguished by Condé Nast Traveler magazine in its 'Hot List 2026', celebrating its 30th anniversary, positioning it among the 71 best new hotels globally.

The specialized publication Condé Nast Traveler has included the Hotel Don Carlos in Marbella in its exclusive 'Hot List 2026', a recognition that places it among the 71 most outstanding hotel establishments in the world. This list, celebrating its thirtieth edition, features only five Spanish references, two of which are Andalusian.
The Hotel Don Carlos, an icon of Marbella's hospitality inaugurated in 1969, has undergone a thorough renovation that has allowed it to regain its splendor. The magazine highlights its "long-awaited rebirth" and its ability to "recover all the magnetism of an icon to project it into a new era".

"There are moments in life that call for Marbella. And there are places that know how to answer that call with the naturalness of someone who has always been there. Don Carlos Marbella is one of them, and it returned last season after an intense facelift as one of the great events of European luxury."

Located on Elviria beach, the hotel spans 20,000 square meters, offering tropical gardens, a luxury spa, various gastronomic proposals, and swimming pools. Additionally, it features exclusive beach clubs such as Nikki Beach and the first Rafa Nadal Tennis Center in Spain.
The interior redesign, carried out by a renowned professional, has transformed the 308 rooms, suites, and residences, instilling a "serene elegance defined by precisely chosen furniture and textiles, vibrant floral arrangements, and an unmistakable aroma that accompanies every stay".
