The report, which analyzes the four major tourist cities in Andalusia (Córdoba, Granada, Seville, and Málaga), indicates that Córdoba had the lowest average expenditure per foreign visitor last year. The figure of 127 euros represented a year-on-year decrease of 3.9%.
In comparison, Seville recorded the highest spending level with 203 euros per traveler, although it experienced a 2.6% decline. Málaga followed with 189 euros and was the only city to register an increase. Granada completed the podium with 169 euros, 1.2% less than the previous year.
Despite the decrease in individual spending, Córdoba saw an increase in the total spending of foreign visitors. This rise was due to a higher number of arrivals, compensating for the lower average expenditure per person. The increase recorded in total spending was 1.6%, the lowest among the cities studied, while Málaga led this category with an 8.4% increase.
