Grupo Insur has acquired five plots in Mazagón (Huelva) to build a residential complex of 233 single-family homes, with a total investment exceeding 80 million euros.

Grupo Insur has purchased five plots in the El Vigía area of Mazagón (Huelva), totaling 130,208 square meters. The plan is to develop a residential complex featuring 233 single-family homes with communal areas. The total investment for this project is estimated at over 80 million euros.
This acquisition is part of Insur's strategy for residential growth and diversification, strengthening its presence along the Andalusian coast. The company is adding a significant development in a coastal destination with strong potential in southern Spain.
The marketing of the homes is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2027, with delivery anticipated in 2029. The company aims to establish this sector as one of the primary residential developments in the province of Huelva.
The residential area's surroundings are notable for their proximity to the sea and their landscape and environmental value. Some of Huelva's most extensive and well-preserved beaches are just meters away, offering a lifestyle associated with tranquility, nature, and low density – increasingly sought-after qualities for second homes or a lifestyle change focused on well-being and nature.
Zacarías Zulategui, Residential Development Director at Grupo Insur, commented that Mazagón has been undergoing significant economic and industrial transformation for years, driven by developments in strategic sectors like energy and sustainability. According to Zulategui, this steady evolution has made the municipality a valuable location for real estate projects.
Mazagón's accessibility, via both road and rail, connects the development to Huelva capital and Seville, and facilitates access from other provinces, including Madrid. This accessibility makes the location attractive to both local clients and buyers from other regions.
This acquisition continues Grupo Insur's commitment to the Huelva coast, where it previously developed a project of 66 multi-family homes in El Rompido. The group reaffirms its confidence in the residential and tourism potential of the province of Huelva.
In the first half of the year, Grupo Insur reported a turnover of 67.5 million euros, a 6.8% increase compared to the previous year. Net profit rose by 26.5% year-on-year to 12.1 million euros, supported by growth in development, property management, and sales activities.
The residential development division sold 153 homes for 64.6 million euros during the semester. Accumulated pre-sales at the end of the semester reached 309.8 million euros. Pre-sale coverage for 2026 and 2027 stands at 86.5% and 65.9%, respectively.
The company's residential land bank has the capacity to develop 5,098 homes, with 832 currently under construction and another 1,117 awaiting commencement. Additionally, Grupo Insur has 1,235 homes in the design phase, 100 completed, and 1,814 in its portfolio.
