Five companies from the province of Jaén have been honored in the thirteenth edition of the Emprendemos Awards for their innovation, recognizing their growth potential and social, economic, and environmental impact.
The awards, promoted by the Ministry of University, Research and Innovation through Andalucía Emprende, distinguish Bordados Artesanales Manuel Lozano, Escuela Superior De Oficios FormaT, Movex, Somnum Technologies, and Training2Work.
Bordados Artesanales Manuel Lozano specializes in embroidery with precious materials for brotherhoods and civil entities. The Escuela Superior De Oficios FormaT is a training center focused on employability. Movex provides personalized training in a mobile gym format, while Somnum Technologies develops industrial solutions for smart cities and unmanned aerial vehicles. Meanwhile, Training2Work offers practical training in programming and data analysis.
The awards ceremony took place this Tuesday, with the participation of the Director General of Entrepreneurship Promotion and Continuing Education, Javier González, and the acting delegate of the Regional Government of Andalusia in Jaén, Ana Mata. Also attending were the territorial delegate for Educational Development and Vocational Training and University, Research and Innovation in Jaén, Francisco José Solano, and the director of the DayOne Andalucía Business Center at CaixaBank, Pedro Navarro.

González also stated that the Regional Government will continue to support entrepreneurial initiative and innovation through accessible tools, highlighting the new Andalusian Entrepreneurship Portal as a single point of access for those wishing to start a project.

The five winning companies have been included in the region's Top50 ranking and will compete in the final gala in Huelva on June 25. Additionally, three more Jaén-based firms, Autarkey, ITP Art, and Noba Arquitectura, have been selected as contenders for the same ranking.
Autarkey automates key delivery, ITP Art focuses on watercolor illustration and live art, and Noba Arquitectura offers efficient and sustainable design. These three companies will proceed to a second regional evaluation phase.
Out of the 276 candidacies submitted at the Andalusian level for the XIII Emprendemos Awards, 50 come from the province of Jaén. The initiative aims to recognize innovation, foster networking, and stimulate entrepreneurial creativity.
The regional gala will be held in Huelva, where the 50 finalists will compete for the award for the most innovative company in Andalusia, with a prize of 5,000 euros. A recognition will also be given to the best company from each province, and the Top50 will receive preferential access to business accommodation services and networking opportunities.
