The company Endesa has completed improvement works on the medium-voltage network in Castilleja de la Cuesta, allocating 160,000 euros to optimize the local power supply.

The project involved replacing 900 meters of medium-voltage cabling with a new line that incorporates advanced technology. This intervention aims to increase service reliability for more than 4,200 residential and commercial customers located in the municipality.
Since the infrastructure is underground, the work required close coordination with the City Council. Trenching operations were concentrated on Pasaje de Triana and avenida de Andalucía, which necessitated traffic diversions in the area during the execution of the works.
This action is part of the distributor's Investment Plan for the province of Sevilla, which is supported by the Junta de Andalucía. The main objective of this plan is the renewal and automation of distribution networks to facilitate the integration of renewable energy and strengthen the quality of electricity supply throughout the region.
