Sercla in Jerez reports a 54% increase in labor conflict mediation

The Extrajudicial Service for the Resolution of Labor Conflicts (Sercla) in Jerez de la Frontera has handled 17 collective conflict files between January and May, reflecting a 54.5% increase compared to the same period in 2025.

According to data from the Andalusian Council of Labor Relations (CARL), activity at the local office has affected 17 companies and a total of 1,327 workers. This volume of files represents 4% of the total recorded across Andalusia during the first five months of the year.
Regarding case resolution, the local office maintained a settlement rate of 44.44%, ranking among the most effective in the autonomous region. Of the nine files that were formally processed, consensus was reached in four of them.
The scope of this office extends beyond Jerez, covering its entire judicial district, including towns such as Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Rota, Chipiona, El Puerto de Santa María, Trebujena, San José del Valle, and the 19 municipalities of the Sierra de Cádiz.
The types of cases handled include disputes prior to judicial proceedings, conflicts preceding strike calls, and general labor issues. At the provincial level, activity in Jerez accounted for 22.2% of the cases managed within the province of Cádiz.
