The Provincial Council of Almería has announced the sixth edition of aid for women entrepreneurs and self-employed individuals operating in municipalities within the province with up to 5,000 inhabitants. The initiative has a total investment of 100,000 euros.

The Social Welfare, Equality, and Family department of the Provincial Council of Almería is promoting this subsidy to foster the sustainability and innovation of Almerian businesses in smaller municipalities. Each beneficiary can receive up to a maximum of 1,000 euros.
The deadline for submitting applications is November 13th. All processing is done exclusively electronically through the Council's website (www.dipalme.org).
The Deputy of Equality and Family, Lorena Nieto, invited interested parties to learn about the requirements and process. "This aid is designed for the day-to-day expenses of a business in a small municipality," she stated, reminding that full information is available on the institutional website.
Self-employed workers and sole traders, including community members of joint ownerships applying individually, who are affiliated and registered in the Special Regime for Self-Employed Workers or the Special Regime for Maritime Workers, are eligible for this aid. It also includes self-employed professionals whose activity requires incorporation into a professional college not integrated into the Special Regime for Self-Employed Workers, whether they have opted for the college's mutual insurance or not.
Beneficiaries must be registered residents in Almerian municipalities with up to 5,000 inhabitants throughout the year 2026 and maintain their registration with Social Security or mutual insurance from January 1st to December 31st of that same year.
