The province of Jaén reinforces its commitment to the defense industry with the start of operations by the Granada Ammunition Factory (FMG) in Vadollano, a project involving an investment of over 10 million euros.

The delegate of the Spanish Government in Jaén, Manuel Fernández Palomino, has highlighted the boost for the defense industry in the province with the formal commencement of activities by FMG (Granada Ammunition Factory) in the Vadollano area.
The institutional representative emphasized the implementation process of this company, whose initial roadmap includes the immediate use of local facilities as a logistics storage center. A subsequent phase of the project foresees the integration of a complete manufacturing line within the complex itself.
Fernández Palomino specifically pointed out the economic scale of this operation, which represents an investment exceeding 10 million euros in the region. This significant financial sum and the associated business deployment are directly linked to the strategy being developed by the Spanish Government under the Industrial and Technological Plan for Security and Defense.
This initiative solidifies Jaén province's strategic position in this regulated high-technology sector.
