The Municipal Institute for Economic Development of Córdoba (Imdeec) has unveiled a comprehensive overhaul of the Córdoba Entrepreneurship Network website, transforming it into a digital one-stop shop. This platform aims to provide technical training itineraries and strategic consulting, aiding the consolidation of freelancers and SMEs in the market.
The new digital platform is fully integrated with the official Imdeec website, ensuring a seamless user experience. According to the president of Imdeec, Blanca Torrent, the goal is to make access to public resources more "intuitive, fast, and simple," offering "agile solutions" to the needs of Córdoba's productive sector. Enhancing the usability of the aid application platform is another key aspect of this modernization.
Torrent highlighted that the tool is crucial for guiding entrepreneurs on the physical location of their businesses, clearly visualizing municipal nodes and infrastructure. The portal details available spaces and offices within the Imdeec business incubator network, a vital feature for new entrepreneurs to reduce initial fixed costs. Strategic centers like the Córdoba Biotech incubator are also featured.
So far this year, 70 new entrepreneurs have designed their personalized itinerary through the network, which has already provided 90 individualized mentoring sessions. The municipal official noted the growing interest in self-employment and business consolidation tools. The profile of entrepreneurs is diverse, ranging from young individuals with fashion ideas to seasoned professionals, and the network handles an average of 20 in-person consultations per month.
