Alvores Developments, S.L., the concessionaire for the operation of the Nautical Activity Center building in the Port of Almería since August 6, 2025, has submitted a request to modify said concession. The petition aims to allow a change in the use of the property, currently closed, to dedicate it to administrative, cultural, logistics, and restaurant activities.
The Official State Gazette (BOE) published on July 17 the announcement from the Port Authority of Almería submitting this substantial modification request to public information. Alvores' proposal includes expanding the built area and the adjacent terrace, as well as extending the concession's validity period, while maintaining the authorized uses and essential conditions.
Interested parties have a period of twenty business days from the publication in the BOE to examine the documentation at the offices of the Port Authority of Almería, located at Muelle de Levante, during office hours from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Allegations can be submitted through the entity's Electronic Headquarters.
The Port Authority has confirmed that the publication in the BOE initiates the necessary prior administrative procedure for modifying the indicated aspects of the concession, originally granted in 2025 with an execution period of 20 years and the possibility of extension.
The uses envisioned by the Alvores Group for this multifunctional space include its corporate headquarters, business areas, exhibition cultural zones, restaurants, and common services, adapting the property after the departure of the Regional Government of Andalusia.
