A delegation of six companies from the Province of Almería, operating under the 'Sabores Almería' brand, has successfully concluded a commercial mission in Singapore, establishing significant contacts at the Food and Hospitality Asia (FHA) 2026 Fair.

Over three intensive days, the Almerian representatives participated in Asia's largest agri-food event, held at the Singapore Expo convention center. This initiative has enabled the province's brands to connect directly with key distributors and buyers from Southeast Asia, a strategic market for the international growth of Almería's small and medium-sized enterprises.
This venture into the Asian market is part of a collaboration agreement between the Provincial Council of Almería and the Chamber of Commerce, both institutions having supported the producers. In addition to the fair activities, the delegation held meetings with the Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, aiming to explore new avenues to facilitate the entry of Almerian products.
The expedition showcased a diverse range of the province's agri-food industry, featuring companies specializing in olive oil, pickles, meat products, preserves, and nuts. The FHA Singapore, which this year brought together nearly 2,000 exhibitors and over 60,000 professionals, is consolidating its position as an essential meeting point for the sector.
