The provincial corporation's presence at this Asian tourism event, held from September 24th to 27th, continues the promotion strategy initiated in the Japanese market. According to the Deputy of Tourism and Sports, Pedro Cuesta, the decision is a response to the positive results from the previous year and the growing interest from Japanese operators in the province.
Participation in the fair will allow Japanese tourism professionals to experience specific offerings from the province. These include historical and cultural heritage, gastronomy and wine tourism, nature and active-sports tourism, as well as coastal and inland options. Proposals related to local festivals and MICE tourism (meetings, congresses, and incentives) in new locations will also be presented.
The primary objective is for this professional encounter to translate into new commercial relationships, greater knowledge of the 'province of Valencia' destination, and real opportunities for incorporating Valencian municipalities, companies, and experiences into Japanese tourist itineraries.
Through this initiative, the Provincial Council of Valencia reinforces its tourism internationalization strategy. The aim is to strengthen the province's presence as a distinct destination in the Japanese market, while simultaneously promoting the redistribution of tourist flows across the territory and creating new opportunities for companies in the sector.
