The Villajoyosa City Council has received two grants from the Provincial Council of Alicante, providing a significant boost to the local economy. One of the grants focuses on business consolidation and the digital transformation of the municipality's SMEs and micro-enterprises.
The program “Impulsa Local 360º”, led by the Councilor for Commerce and Tourism, Rosa Llorca, will offer six practical workshops to improve the digital presence of local businesses. These workshops, held at Vilamuseu on September 16, 23, and 30, and October 7, 14, and 21, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, are free and exclusively for SMEs and micro-enterprises in Villajoyosa. Prior registration is mandatory due to limited places and can be completed by contacting the Local Development Agency (adl@villajoyosa.es, 629 222 944) or via the digital form.
The second grant, part of Line 1 of aid for economic development in fairs and commercial events, has been awarded to the Department of Festivities. With a maximum amount of 7,000 euros, this funding will finance the decoration and ornamentation of the Christmas fair “La Nadala”, as part of the 2025-2026 Christmas and Three Kings campaign.
Additionally, the Department of Commerce has allocated part of this aid to organize lectures within the “Xocolatísima 2025” event. These initiatives reinforce the City Council's commitment to the local business community, promoting training and constant support for local businesses.
