The Red Cross has recognized the social work of the company Veolia in the province of Alicante, highlighting its commitment to vulnerable groups and students.

The company Veolia received a recognition from the Red Cross this Saturday for its collaboration and support of various social projects developed in the province of Alicante. The award was presented during the celebration of the World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day, held in Ibi.
The Red Cross highlighted the company's commitment to initiatives related to sustainability, social inclusion, and employment. Actions developed in the province include volunteering programs, scholarships for students, and employability improvement projects for individuals facing vulnerability.
One of the highlighted programs is Ola (Occupation, Leadership, and Support), an initiative aimed at facilitating labor insertion and empowerment for groups with greater difficulty accessing the job market, particularly women benefiting from water supply aid and social tariffs.
The collaboration between the Red Cross and Veolia has been ongoing for several years and also extends to organizing business meetings and cooperation spaces with entities and institutions from different municipalities in the province. During the event, the Red Cross emphasized the involvement of companies collaborating with their social projects.
