PowerfulTree, a Spanish technology company focused on smart agrivoltaics, has revealed its new corporate branding. This visual refresh is accompanied by the announcement that Erum Group, a business group specializing in sustainable plastic injection and circular economy, has increased its stake in PowerfulTree's capital to 27%, the maximum currently possible.
Erum Group began investing in PowerfulTree in 2023. The startup, headquartered in Álava with an office in Alcoy, where its R&D department is also located, sees its strategic alliance strengthened by this move. Erum Group's commitment to diversification in long-term value sectors and contributing to a better future is clearly reflected in this investment.

"Investing in PowerfulTree means betting on a model that leaves the world better for future generations. The energy transition only makes sense if it cares for the land and the people who depend on it. PowerfulTree does just that."
PowerfulTree's new visual identity features a symbol representing a tree viewed from above, with eight converging rays symbolizing agriculture, people, energy, water, climate resilience, economic resilience, territory, and innovation. According to Ignacio Palmer, CEO of PowerfulTree, this new design "translates into an image what the company builds in the field: Agriculture and energy. One territory. A symbiosis." Palmer emphasized that the company's technology is placed "around" the crop, the person, and the territory, and that the new image is the result of six years of intensive work.
Currently, PowerfulTree has operational agrivoltaic installations at Casa Sicilia and the Gabrielista School in Aranda de Duero, with Bodegas Comenge under construction. Furthermore, it manages over 49 MWp in active projects through IDAE calls, collaborating with partners such as Iberdrola, Repsol, and Nufri. Its UrbiVoltaics technology also extends this logic to urban spaces.
