Nespresso has inaugurated its first coffee bar in Spain on Paseo de Ruzafa in Valencia, solidifying the city as a strategic point for the brand and launching a new boutique concept.

The new Nespresso boutique, located at number 7 on Paseo de Ruzafa, represents a new meeting point for coffee lovers. This opening not only strengthens the brand's presence in the city but also positions Valencia as a key territory in its strategy, as it was the chosen location to debut Nespresso's first Coffee Bar in the entire country.
The choice of Ruzafa, a neighborhood known for its vibrant, multicultural, and eclectic cultural identity, is no coincidence. The brand seeks to offer Valencians a space where they can discover exceptional coffees and experience an homage to local culture. This opening marks a strategic relocation from its previous boutique on Colón Street.

"We are excited about this opening in Ruzafa. Valencia is a strategic city for us, a pioneer in our commitment to sustainability and a place with unique energy. With this new boutique concept and our first Coffee Bar, we want to offer Valencians a space where they not only discover exceptional coffees but also live an experience that pays homage to the vibrant local culture."

One of the most notable elements is the inauguration of Nespresso's first Coffee Bar in Spain, an evolution of the “On the Go” service. The boutique becomes a dynamic space where expert baristas will prepare coffee recipes, exclusive pairings, workshops, and tastings for visitors.
The boutique's design is a dialogue with Valencian identity, paying deep homage to local craftsmanship. A “Local Touch” at the entrance welcomes visitors with a socarrat marble ceramic floor and an imposing Alicantino marble bar. These details merge with an elegant Italian design signed by architect Matteo Brioni, renowned for his mastery in the use of raw earth and his focus on sustainability.
Nespresso's commitment to Valencia extends beyond this opening. The city was a pioneer in Spain in 2020 with the implementation of a recycling system for capsules and other small aluminum and steel containers through the yellow bin. This project, developed in collaboration with the Generalitat Valenciana and COAALI, has recovered over 259 tons of aluminum and steel in the first two years, setting a precedent for the expansion of this model to other cities.
This opening coincides with the brand's 40th anniversary and a new era of exploration in the world of coffee, marked by a renewed visual universe, the incorporation of Dua Lipa as an ambassador, and the arrival of a new member to the Vertuo machine family: Vertuo Up. The new Nespresso boutique in Ruzafa opens its doors from 9:00 to 21:00.
