This tool, managed by the Electronic Administration department, allows municipalities with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants to protect their information in the cloud. After two years in operation, the initiative now serves 84% of the municipalities it is aimed at, storing more than 550 terabytes of municipal data.
The service aims to ensure the continuity of public services in the face of potential cyberattacks, technical failures, or accidental data loss. Furthermore, the Provincial Council of Valencia covers 100% of the project's cost, making it easier for local entities with fewer resources to comply with the requirements of the National Security Scheme.
The platform includes specialized technical support and a technical office that assists town halls in the implementation and data restoration process. The project received national recognition last year at the 17th edition of the @aslan 2025 Awards for its innovation in the digitalization of public administrations.
