Los Montesinos Promotes Business Digitalization with New Agreement

The City Council signs an agreement with FEMPA to offer specialized training and advice to freelancers and local businesses.

The Los Montesinos City Council has signed an agreement with the Federation of Metal Entrepreneurs of the Province of Alicante (FEMPA) to implement the Acelera Pyme Office, aimed at boosting the digital transformation of the local business community.

Through the municipal Employment Agency, various informative workshops, training sessions, and specialized services will be developed over the coming months. The goal is to enhance business competitiveness and facilitate their adaptation to new digital environments.
With this collaboration, the council reaffirms its commitment to supporting the business sector, especially small businesses, shops, and freelancers. It aims to help them explore new digital tools to gain visibility, improve their positioning, and open new growth opportunities.
The Councilor for Employment and Local Development, Ana Belén Juárez, highlighted that “from the City Council, we continue working to bring useful and practical resources to our businesses and freelancers. We want no business in Los Montesinos to be left behind at a time when digitalization is key to being competitive”.
Juárez also pointed out that “many small businesses have enormous potential, but they need support to take their first steps in the digital realm. This agreement allows us to bring quality training and advice directly to our municipality”.
For his part, the mayor of Los Montesinos, José Manuel Butrón, emphasized that “the local business sector is one of the economic and social engines of the municipality, and from the City Council, we have the responsibility to accompany it in the new challenges posed by the current market”.
The mayor added that “betting on digitalization is betting on the future of our shops, our businesses, and local employment. We want Los Montesinos to remain a dynamic, innovative municipality prepared to seize all opportunities”.
One of the first actions will be the informative workshop “All Google for your business in Los Montesinos,” which will take place next Thursday, May 21st, at 8:00 PM, in the City Council's Plenary Hall.
The session, organized by FEMPA's Acelera Pyme Office in collaboration with the City Council, will offer practical tools and advice to optimize businesses' presence on Google and Google Maps, correctly manage their business profile, and improve online visibility.
