The Rodes Urban Technology Park, located in Alcoy, will become the hub for talent and remote work on Friday, July 24th, with the celebration of La TRUPE 2026, the 1st Meeting of Alicantinian and Valencian Collaborative Spaces. This event, driven by the Technology Park itself and dynamized by the Genion team, aims to connect professionals from various coworking spaces and innovation centers in the region.
The event will bring together freelance professionals, entrepreneurs, cooperatives, teleworkers, and digital nomads under the La TRUPE umbrella, with the goal of building networks, sharing resources, and generating business opportunities. Communities from workspaces in Alicante, Elche, Petrer, Mutxamel, Santa Pola, San Vicente del Raspeig, and Alcoy have already confirmed their attendance.
The choice of Rodes for this first edition is deliberate. The complex represents the transition from an industrial past to a technological and digital future, serving as a "third place" and meeting point for professionals seeking collaborative environments. According to the organization, "talent today is nomadic and delocalized; it works from anywhere but still needs to be part of a community." La TRUPE 2026 offers an agile and participatory format lasting two and a half hours (from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM), moving away from traditional conferences. The event will feature thematic round tables on artificial intelligence, technology, social economy, mental health for freelancers, and marketing strategies, topics previously selected by participants. This will be followed by the main activity: Entrepreneurial Speed Dating, a structured dynamic of quick contacts where attendees will rotate every three minutes to present their services and needs. The meeting will conclude with a tour of the Technology Park facilities and an open networking session.
For professionals traveling from other towns, the organization and the City Council will make the coworking space available from 8:00 AM, allowing attendees to work on-site before the official start of the event.
