The Chamber's first vice-president, Cristina Torres, announced the details of the gala, which will recognize the work of local businesses and merchants. This year's celebration holds special significance as it aligns with the anniversary of the Orihuela Chamber of Commerce.
This year's awards will honor Central Hisúmer with the Internationalization Award; Genetic Analysis Strategies with the Technological Innovation Award; Caliente 1986 will receive the Select Commerce Award; TM Grupo Inmobiliario will be presented with the Business Trajectory Award; and Las Ramblas Golf will receive the Sustainable Tourism Development Award.
The Juan Cerdán Honorary Award, given for his extensive business career in Orihuela and the Vega Baja region, will go to Domingo Alcocer, founder of Grupo Doalco.
The Economy Night is historically sponsored by the Orihuela City Council, through the Commerce Department, and Caja Rural Central. Additionally, collaborations have grown with companies such as Print DVV, Grupo TM, Veolia, Santamar de la Vega, Vegafibra, Tabisam, Grupo Antón, Grupo Marcos, CRL Importaciones Heineken, Traders Matt Group, Evocivil, and Cupoola by Vegametal.
Cristina Torres expressed gratitude for the involvement of all collaborators, stating, “without their collaboration, none of this would be possible.” Journalist Ana Carrillo will host the event, which will bring together the business community, civil society, and authorities from Orihuela, the province of Alicante, and the Valencian Community.
