The Provincial Council of Valencia has launched a new grant line endowed with 450,000 euros to finance socio-economic revitalization projects in municipalities and associations across the province.

This initiative, managed by the Sustainable Territorial Development department, aims to improve quality of life in municipalities, promote economic activity, and create opportunities in rural areas or those at risk of depopulation. Local entities can receive up to 30,000 euros per activity for actions taking place between September 1, 2026, and August 31, 2027.
The call is organized into five lines of action. The first is reserved for territories that already have Socio-economic Revitalization Plans, such as Rincón de Ademuz, the area around the Cofrentes power plant, and the Hoya de Buñol-Chiva Association. In these cases, the provincial institution can finance the entire project.
Other lines allow associations to develop their own plans or finance projects in areas that do not yet have prior strategies. Additionally, a specific line is included for the incorporation of telematic tools in local development agencies, facilitating the management of job offers and business transfers.
The funds are intended for current expenses and are pre-payable, allowing local councils to receive the money in advance to facilitate the implementation of the initiatives. This line complements other support instruments such as the Open Investment Plan.
