International tourism is gaining ground in Castellón year after year. In the first half of 2026, the number of foreign visitors grew by 3.1% compared to the same period of the previous year. However, their spending has decreased by 14.8%, according to the latest data published by the Institut Valencià d'Estadística (IVE).
The economic impact of foreign tourism in the province saw a recovery in the second quarter, after experiencing a decline in the first quarter of the year.
