The Network of Valencian Science Parks (rePCV) has opened the application period for the VIII rePCV Awards, which will recognize business innovation and knowledge transfer in the Valencian Community. The deadline is November 16.

Innovative companies from the Valencian Community have until next November 16, at 2:00 PM, to submit their applications for the VIII rePCV Awards. This initiative, promoted by the Network of Valencian Science Parks (rePCV), aims to recognize the trajectory, innovative nature, and growth potential of companies and entrepreneurial projects linked to the Valencian research and innovation ecosystem.
A key novelty this year is the inclusion of a special mention for the best innovative project in the field of digital technologies. This distinction is added to the three usual categories: spin-off, start-up, and university-business collaboration. Applications can be submitted through the official rePCV Awards website.
The eighth edition is coordinated by the Miguel Hernández University Science Park (PCUMH) in Elche, which will host the awards ceremony on December 9, 2026. The event will bring together representatives from the Valencian scientific, technological, and business sectors.
The awards distinguish different models of innovation. The spin-off award recognizes companies born from research results, while the start-up award is aimed at innovative emerging companies established after November 16, 2021. The university-business collaboration award honors companies that collaborate with Valencian public universities on R&D projects. Each category will have one winner and up to two honorable mentions.
The special mention for digital technologies is designed to recognize business initiatives developing advanced solutions in areas such as artificial intelligence, augmented reality, Internet of Things (IoT), and Big Data, aiming to foster digital transformation.
The winning companies and the initiative recognized with the special mention will be featured in an informative piece in Economía 3 magazine. The call also aims to enhance the visibility of innovative companies and their connections with the university environment.
These awards are part of agreements promoted by the Conselleria de Industria, Turismo, Innovación y Comercio of the Generalitat Valenciana with the five science parks of Valencian public universities, focused on strengthening the interconnection between research, technology, and business.
The Network of Valencian Science Parks comprises the Ciudad Politécnica de la Innovación (UPV), the UMH Science Park, the UV Science Park, the Alicante Science Park (UA), and Espaitec (UJI). The network works to promote entrepreneurship and improve the competitiveness of companies linked to public universities.
