The Institute of Economic Studies of the Province of Alicante (Ineca) and the Ministry of Environment, Infrastructure and Territory have held a new meeting to continue the analysis of Consell investments in the province of Alicante.

This second working meeting, which continues a previously initiated process, has allowed progress in the analysis of the documentation already provided. This includes data on various budget items and the execution status of some key projects for the province.

"We are beginning to have a base of information that already allows us to identify the behavior of certain investments, including in some cases the degree of execution, which represents an important step towards a more rigorous and useful study, although this analysis still needs to be extended to all investment areas."

Ineca has emphasized the importance of continuing to deepen the quality and detail of the data. It is considered fundamental to analyze not only absolute values, but especially the percentages of execution over the total budgeted, as these reflect the true intensity of the investment effort.
To ensure structured and continuous monitoring, Ineca has proposed the implementation of a work calendar with quarterly reviews. This system seeks to consolidate a stable technical space for the analysis and evaluation of public investments.

"We are laying the foundations for a work model that must go beyond a snapshot and move towards periodic monitoring that allows us to interpret trends, detect deviations, and provide useful information for both administrations and society."

The Ministry's willingness to continue advancing in this process has been positively valued. The ultimate goal is to improve transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the allocation of public resources in the province of Alicante. This approach will allow Ineca to strengthen its role as an independent economic analysis agent, contributing to a better understanding of the real impact of public investment and favoring an adequate territorialization of budgets.
