The city of Gandia will host the XIII Motor Show, a consolidated event bringing together 33 commercial firms across more than 20,000 square meters of exhibition space in the city center.

The fair, taking place on May 8, 9, and 10, is a key date in the local calendar, attracting thousands of visitors. The Councilor for Commerce highlighted that this event is highly anticipated by citizens and this year promises greater appeal and an expected increase in visits and sales.

"This year's fair comes with more dynamism and an anticipated increase in visits and sales."

Elena Moncho · Councilor for Commerce
This event is unique for being the only outdoor motor show held in a city center, making it a significant urban showcase for the sector. The 33 participating commercial firms will offer a wide range of products, including new vehicles, used vehicles, motorcycles, electric scooters, and adapted vehicles for people with reduced mobility.
A sector representative emphasized the strength of the automotive business fabric in Gandia, considering it unusual for a city of its size. They explained that the city boasts a brand representation comparable to major capitals, generating investment and employment in the municipality. Furthermore, they announced that the fair will feature significant technological innovations, with the arrival of new international brands, many from Asia, and advancements towards autonomous driving.
From the business sector, a manager and president of the Association of Automobile Distributors of La Safor thanked the City Council for its support and highlighted the event's continuous growth. They noted that the fair will once again be a key space for accessing exclusive offers, with special discounts on vehicles and financing options available only during the event days.
The rise of electric vehicles was also highlighted, driven by public aid and growing concerns about energy dependence. Subsidies for both electric vehicle purchases and charging point installations, even in community housing, were mentioned. The sector shows signs of recovery, with the national market surpassing 1.2 million units sold, approaching pre-pandemic levels. Last year's fair exceeded eight million euros in turnover.
The official inauguration will take place on Friday, May 8, at 11:00 AM. The general fair hours will be from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, while on Sunday, the fair will conclude at 6:00 PM.
