The Espai Baladre in Gandia is hosting FuturSteam until August 30, an initiative that merges education, technology, and leisure, offering practical activities in robotics, programming, and artificial intelligence.

The city of Gandia becomes an innovation hub until August 30 with the celebration of FuturSteam at the Espai Baladre. This immersive experience uniquely combines education, technology, and entertainment, opening its doors to children, youth, families, educators, and professionals to explore disciplines such as robotics, programming, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and maker culture in a practical and participatory way.
The mayor of Gandia, José Manuel Prieto, along with the president of the District Board of the Beach, Elena Moncho, visited the exhibition last Saturday. FuturSteam offers a journey through various thematic areas with content adapted for all age groups.
Among the most notable activities is the Minecraft Challenge - Gandia Beach, a digital recreation of the municipality developed by students from Cantera de Empresas, inviting visitors to discover the city from a technological and creative perspective. The program also includes workshops for creating video games with Roblox, dedicated robotics spaces with robot construction for different levels, 3D printing and prototyping demonstrations, as well as virtual reality experiences in collaboration with the Valencian Association of Extended Reality (AVRE).
The exhibition is complemented by a retro zone, organized by the Cultural Association of Arcade and Pinball of Alcàsser (ACAPA), a LEGO® exhibition coordinated by SolerBricks, and a LEGO playroom designed for the youngest attendees. The venue is open daily from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM, promoting the 'learning by doing' methodology, which encourages learning through direct experimentation with new technologies.
