This launch marks the beginning of the commercial phase for the upcoming edition of this event, organized by AEC, the Spanish Association of Footwear Component Companies. Held twice a year, the fair is a key meeting point for the footwear and leather goods industry, bringing together manufacturers of components, tanned leathers, textiles, chemical products, machinery, accessories, and design services from across Europe and international markets.
The new image for the 56th edition reflects the aesthetic directions that will define the Autumn/Winter 2027-2028 season. The color palette combines warm, earthy tones—ochres, terracotta, burnt orange, and browns—with vibrant accents of intense red. This combination creates a visual narrative deeply connected to the organic, artisanal, and timeless, reflecting a trend towards authenticity and a return to origins, values increasingly present in the industry.
In contrast, the deep blue of the central styling introduces a contemporary and technological dimension, symbolizing the innovation driving the sector. This dialogue between warmth and coolness, tradition and avant-garde, defines a season marked by duality: emotional yet precise, expressive yet functional. The red accents, present in the footwear and sculptural elements, reinforce the energy and character that position this color as a major protagonist of winter. The proposal also incorporates a sustainable approach, with the predominance of natural tones pointing towards responsible materials and low-impact processes.
The previous 55th edition, held on March 4 and 5, 2026, at Fira Alicante, confirmed its success as a leading sectoral platform. It attracted over 4,100 professional visitors and 236 participating companies from six countries. The most represented sectors included tanned leathers and hides, accessories and design, components, machinery, textiles, and chemical products. Additionally, it featured an Experts Forum with conferences on sustainability, digital product passports, circular economy, and technology applied to the sector.
With the presentation of the new image, the event officially opens the registration period for exhibitors for the 56th edition. Interested companies can request information and participation contracts via email at info@futurmoda.es, by phone at 965 460 158, or through the website futurmoda.es.
