The Valencian Business Confederation (CEV) considers the announcement of Ford's Bronco model manufacturing award for the Almussafes plant "excellent news," highlighting it as an "element of reassurance" and an "opportunity" for Valencian industry.

The Valencian employers' association stated that the transition towards new mobility models, the emergence of new global competitors, and the need to balance sustainability, competitiveness, and demand are forcing a redefinition of industrial strategies across Europe. They believe the award "reinforces confidence in the industrial capacity of the Valencian Community." Furthermore, in a statement, they emphasized that Ford's commitment to Almussafes "should also be interpreted as an opportunity to strengthen the industrial positioning of the Valencian Community and consolidate a highly specialized, innovative, and adaptable business ecosystem."
For the president of the CEV, Vicente Lafuente, "it is, without a doubt, a decision that reinforces the strategic role of the Valencian factory within the European automotive industry and a relevant sign of confidence in the productive, logistical, and technological capabilities of our territory." "The decision also represents an element of reassurance and confidence for all supplier companies linked to the factory and for the thousands of workers whose activity depends, directly or indirectly, on the evolution of Ford Almussafes," he added.

The president of the Automotive and Mobility Cluster of the Valencian Community (AVIA), Francisco Segura, welcomed with "optimism" Ford's announcement regarding the awarding of Bronco model manufacturing to the Almussafes plant, starting in 2028, and maintained that it represents a "positive signal for the automotive and mobility ecosystem of the Valencian Community." He made these remarks in a statement after the oval-badge firm announced it will launch five new passenger cars manufactured in Europe for the European market by the end of 2029, including a new Bronco to be produced at the company's Almussafes factory from 2028.
According to the president of AVIA, Ford's announcement of its new industrial and commercial strategy for Europe is a "positive signal for the automotive and mobility ecosystem of the Valencian Community, especially for the network of suppliers, industrial companies, and technology firms linked to the Almussafes plant, by providing industrial visibility, new business opportunities, and future prospects for the entire sector's value chain." "It is a commitment to the European market through a strategy based on industrial alliances, competitiveness, scale, and adaptation to the real needs of the European consumer, while also advocating for a flexible energy transition supported by hybrid and electrified technologies."
Furthermore, the president of the automotive cluster highlighted "the importance of the commitment to multi-energy models and the consolidation of Ford's industrial strategy for Europe." AVIA considers that this decision underscores the strategic importance of integrated regional supply chains and the European industrial ecosystem in maintaining automotive competitiveness in Europe. The organization specifically emphasizes its role as the representative entity of the sector, uniting 93% of the Valencian Community's automotive turnover, and closely monitors "from the inside" the evolution of the Ford ecosystem and its entire value chain.
