The Foios City Council has launched the tender for improvement and modernization works at the La Yutera industrial park, with an investment of 168,896.97 euros, funded by IVACE and municipal resources.

The project aims to enhance the urban integration and accessibility of the business area, similar to the ongoing work at the El Molí park. The goal is to provide higher quality infrastructure, adapted to new needs, to serve existing companies and attract new initiatives that generate employment and wealth.
The budget, increased after the previous tender was declared void, includes replacing the asbestos-cement drinking water network with ductile iron, improving drainage, upgrading lighting to LED technology, installing new vertical and horizontal signage, and planting trees to create larger green areas. Accessibility will also be improved with new pavement on sidewalks and roads, widening the sidewalk on Vicente Ruiz El Soro street for enhanced safety.
Furthermore, under IVACE grants, an electric vehicle charging station has been installed on Vicente Ruiz El Soro street, and the video surveillance system has been expanded across both business areas to bolster security and traffic control.
In the last six years, Foios has invested nearly 2.5 million euros in the El Molí and La Yutera industrial parks, positioning itself as a leading municipality in modernizing its business areas in L'Horta Nord.
