This initiative aims to boost the local economic fabric and facilitate access to the labor market for unemployed individuals, with a special focus on groups such as women, youth, and people with disabilities.
Aid for permanent hiring is directed at companies that hire unemployed individuals registered in El Puig on a permanent basis. Subsidies can reach €2,000 for each full-time contract and €1,000 for part-time contracts. These amounts are increased for hiring people with disabilities, with an additional +50% if the disability is 33% or higher, and +75% if it is mental or intellectual. The program rewards stable employment and the conversion of temporary contracts into permanent ones.
Regarding aid for business creation, it is aimed at entrepreneurs who have started their activity in the municipality. Each new company can receive a non-reimbursable grant of €1,500 to cover constitution and startup costs. For people with disabilities, the amount increases to €2,250 (disability of 33% or higher) or €2,625 (mental or intellectual disability). In this way, El Puig Activa 2026 promotes local talent and helps transform ideas into viable business projects.
The subsidy period for hiring and company constitution runs from November 16, 2025, to November 15, 2026. The deadline for submitting applications is November 27, 2026, or until the budget is exhausted. Applications must be processed exclusively through the Electronic Office of the El Puig de Santa María City Council.
