The Club INFORMACIÓN will host this Friday, June 5th, at 10:00 AM, the III Economic and Social Forum of the Mediterranean, under the title "Retos inmobiliarios sostenibles" (Sustainable Real Estate Challenges). The event aims to analyze, debate, and reflect on the major urban, social, and economic challenges of the territory, with a special emphasis on rehabilitation, coastal renewal, and the role of public-private collaboration in transforming urban spaces.
The day will begin with the round table "Ejemplo de rehabilitación en Sant Joan d’Alacant y Elche" (Example of rehabilitation in Sant Joan d’Alacant and Elche), where specific experiences of urban recovery and improvement driven by the municipal sphere will be presented. Participants will include Rosa Cussac, manager of the municipal company for People and City of Sant Joan d’Alacant, and Antonio Martínez, manager of the Municipal Promotions and Initiatives Company of Elche (Pimesa). Both will share their respective municipalities' vision on the importance of rehabilitating spaces, fostering new opportunities, and responding to citizens' needs through sustainable planning.
Subsequently, the panel "Renovar el litoral" (Renewing the Coastline) will be held, addressing the challenges of coastal regeneration from urbanistic, economic, environmental, and social perspectives. Participants will include Cristóbal Ruiz, Civil Engineer and Director of Urbanism at TM Grupo Inmobiliario; Jorge Juan Blay, Commercial Director of Alicante Global Group; and Elena Argilés, CEO and founder of the Argilés Blasco Architecture Studio.
The forum is conceived as a meeting space for administrations, professionals, companies, and key agents in urban and territorial development. The objective is to promote more efficient, livable, and environmentally respectful city models, preserving Mediterranean identity and the social value of projects. With this third edition, the Economic and Social Forum of the Mediterranean consolidates its role as a reference point for sharing experiences and generating proposals for the future of cities.
