Nearly a hundred workers from the cleaning sector gathered today in Alicante to demand improvements in the working and salary conditions of the provincial collective agreement.

The mobilization, which took place in front of the Government Subdelegation, occurred just before a new meeting of the negotiating table. Participants aimed to demonstrate their strength and unity in a sector they consider essential for the operation of buildings and premises.
The organizing union, CCOO Hàbitat PV, highlighted the high turnout as evidence of the existing unrest among the staff. The main goal of these actions is to convey to employers the need to reach agreements that dignify the service provided by thousands of people.
This gathering continues the protests held over the last few weeks. The union expressed gratitude for the support received and reiterated its commitment to continue mobilizing until an agreement is reached that meets the real needs of workers in the province of Alicante.
