The city of Benidorm registered a hotel occupancy rate of 80.7% during the first half of April, according to data from the hotel association Hosbec, surpassing last year's figures for the same period.

This percentage represents an improvement compared to 78.4% from the previous year, although it is important to note that Easter Week fell in the second half of 2025. For the association, these figures confirm Benidorm's consolidation as one of the most resilient destinations during high-demand periods.
The locality maintains sustained momentum, supported by its high hotel capacity and a particularly loyal international demand. Benidorm ranks as the second destination with the best occupancy in the Valencian Community, only behind Valencia, according to Hosbec's analysis.
The British market remains the most important for Benidorm, accounting for 43.4% of the total, although with a slight decrease compared to 46.1% in 2025. This adjustment is offset by the notable advance of the national market, which grew to 42.5%, compared to 37.1% the previous year, driven by the effect of Easter Week.
Regarding hotel categories, four-star hotels achieved an occupancy of 79.5%, slightly above 2025. The three-star segment experienced a more significant increase, reaching 85.2% compared to 79% last year.
Forecasts for the remainder of April are optimistic, with an expected occupancy of 79.4%, which anticipates continued high levels after the boost from Easter Week and reinforces the destination's stability at the start of the high season.
In the Costa Blanca, occupancy in the first half of April was 74.4%, slightly higher than 73.9% last year. This evolution, although contained, consolidates the destination's stability. In Alicante South, occupancy was 75.7%, with a correction compared to 83.4% in 2025.
The Costa Blanca shows a clear recovery of the national market, reaching 50.1%, offsetting a slight loss of weight from the main international markets. The United Kingdom continues to lead foreign demand with 13.8%. Forecasts for the second half of April in both areas are around 70%.
