This new establishment, emerging as a natural extension of another successful project in the city, aims to reclaim the street as a setting and highlight the product without excessive formality. Its philosophy is based on an open kitchen, market-fresh ingredients, and product quality, with an average bill of around 25-30 euros including drinks.
The space at Barrita is structured around a long bar, the longest in Castellón at twenty meters, complemented by high tables and a fully open kitchen that eliminates any distance between the customer and the food preparation. The menu focuses on more concise and refined market dishes, reinterpreting the traditional bar concept with a contemporary touch.
“"A good menu attracts, but it's the atmosphere that makes people return."
The gastronomic proposal is based on fresh, visible produce, with a display case that interacts with the menu and blackboard, setting the pace of the market. It includes staples like the fritura del Grau and other rotating dishes, such as chicken bikinis a l'ast with apple aioli or seasonal vegetables. The kitchen, while not abandoning technique, expresses itself here with greater synthesis.
Furthermore, the beverage offering gains importance, with a selection of natural and ancestral wines. Soon, a breakfast proposal including bikinis, bravas, and ensaladilla will be added, extending service hours from Tuesday to Saturday with continuous service on weekends, and Sundays until the afternoon. The team includes professionals with local experience, consolidating a service that understands the customer connection as key to loyalty.
