This program, carried out at the facilities of the Local Agency for Economic and Social Development through Impulsalicante, is aimed at a total of 20 adult individuals, over 18 years of age, who are currently unemployed. The training will take place between April and May, focusing on facilitating access to the labor market in areas such as energy efficiency, circular economy, and renewable energies.
The training itinerary lasts 32 hours and is structured into two group sessions per week over one month. In addition to group training, it includes individual coaching and professional webinars delivered by specialists in the green sector and employability. The main objective is to train unemployed residents in Alicante so they can adapt to new job opportunities offered by the labor market in sustainable activities with growth potential.
The 2026 edition, the fourth of this project, incorporates learning communities as a novelty, focusing on a technical introduction to energy efficiency, circular economy, and renewable energies. These areas had been particularly in demand in previous calls. A system for classifying green jobs will also be launched, coordinated with third-sector professionals, along with a talent pool featuring profiles of the participants.
Since 2023, more than 290 unemployed individuals from various parts of Spain have participated in this project. According to the data provided, over 55% have improved their employment situation through job market insertion, training, or self-employment. Additionally, a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) will again be offered, aimed at professionals seeking to update their knowledge in the green economy, to strengthen the preparation of organizations and users in sustainable employment.
