Alcoy Campus of UPV Awards Eight Entrepreneurial Projects

The 11th Start UPV competition recognizes innovation and creativity with 8,000 euros distributed among eight prizes.

The Alcoy Campus of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) has presented the awards for the 11th Start UPV Competition, an initiative fostering entrepreneurial spirit and innovation among students and graduates from the campus.

The Universitat Politècnica de València, through its Alcoy Campus and in collaboration with Ideas UPV, has celebrated the 11th edition of the Start UPV Competition. This event, aimed at boosting entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and creativity, has recognized a total of eight projects with a historic economic endowment of 8,000 euros.
The Mujer Emprende category, which rewards initiatives led by women or with at least 50% female members, awarded the first prize of 1,300 euros to BiCasanova Studio, presented by Paula Bielsa Casanova. The second prize of 700 euros went to NeuroTab by Flamenco T-Lab, submitted by Maria Juan Navarro.
Meanwhile, the Idea Emprende category was divided into three subcategories. In Innovación Tecnológica, the first prize (1,300 euros) was awarded to SmartVan AI (Mariola Martínez Serrano) and the second (700 euros) to Gainz (Andrés Sánchez Zalve and Daniel Nazarenko Puzyrevych).
In Impacto Entorno Campus, IDBridge (Marcos Manén Jové and Alberto Montero Blanch) secured the first prize (1,300 euros), while Talent Bridge Alcoy (Sana Eddaqqaq Naoui) received the second (700 euros).
Finally, in Compromiso Sostenible, the first prize (1,300 euros) went to Circupyme (Mayra Alejandra Nieto Rodríguez and Miluska Rojas Canales), and the second (700 euros) to NovaVolta (Adrián Lorenzo García and Pedro Melenchón Vilaplana).
The event, hosted by José Francisco Pascual Milán, a third-year student of the Degree in Electrical Engineering and Student Delegate, was attended by Pau Bernabeu, Director of the Alcoy Campus of the UPV, and Alejandro Vignoni, Director of Entrepreneurship and the Ideas Program at the UPV. Adrià Vila, CEO of Curial Product Design SL, a company originating from the campus, also participated.
The Selection Committee highlighted the innovative nature, originality, and growth potential of the submitted proposals, solidifying the Start UPV Competition as a key initiative for fostering university talent and transforming ideas into business, social, and technological projects.
