This recognition, awarded by The World’s 25 Best Burgers ranking from the Swedish platform Burgerdudes, consolidates the Valencian firm as a global benchmark. It is an unprecedented achievement in the history of this classification, as no establishment had maintained the top spot for three consecutive years.
The Burgerdudes list, considered one of the international references in specialized burger evaluation, is compiled from their own visits and ratings. Since 2014, its creators have visited more than 1,000 restaurants in 65 countries, focusing exclusively on this product.
The Hundred Burgers project began in 2017 as a personal experience, when its founders traveled to New York to try the city's best burgers. This initiative evolved into a series of gastronomic trips to various cities around the world, documenting the best burgers. In 2020, the project materialized into Hundred Burgers, which currently has seven locations between Valencia and Madrid.
Hundred Burgers' proposal is based on two fundamental pillars: meat and bread. They use Galician blonde beef dry-aged for 60 days and make their own bread, which combines the softness of brioche with the structure of Japanese milk bun. The result is a burger where the meat is the absolute protagonist, with preparations that seek to maximize respect for maturation and cooking point.
Among the burgers highlighted by the Burgerdudes ranking are the Loser, with caramelized onion and gochujang sauce; the Satisfaction, with crispy bacon and smoked mayonnaise; and the limited edition Paul Finch, made with ribeye aged up to 120 days. The prices of these burgers range between 12 and 14 euros.
Spanish dominance in the ranking is not limited to the first position. Other burger joints in the country also feature among the 25 best in the world, such as Briochef (Madrid) in 15th place, BDP Burger (Madrid) debuting in 21st position, and Soul Coffee (Valencia), which enters the top 10. Only the United States surpasses Spain in the number of establishments present in the classification.
