The historic center of Gandia will host the city's second urban hotel next year, a boutique establishment currently under construction with an investment of 6 million euros.

The project, located at number 6 Carrer dels Arcs, next to the town hall, involves the comprehensive renovation of a building dating back to 1978. The work includes a complete facade renewal to improve lighting and the creation of an interior light well to distribute the 45 rooms the hotel will have.
The establishment, scheduled to open in August next year, has been designed to integrate into the heritage environment of the urban core. Its features include a rooftop terrace with views of the Col·legiata, the Palau Ducal, and the Serpis River.
The initiative has benefited from the municipal hotel incentive, a measure that allows for increased buildability in exchange for the transfer of public spaces. According to municipal sources, this tool has mobilized more than 40 million euros of private investment in the city's hotel sector since its implementation in the urban area.
