This new connection is part of the expansion strategy of the Moroccan airline, which has more than five decades of activity in Spain. The Casablanca-Alicante route will offer three weekly frequencies, specifically on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, providing more options for travelers.
With this addition, Royal Air Maroc expands its network in Spain, where it already operates in nine airports and connects five Moroccan cities with multiple Spanish destinations, exceeding 80 weekly frequencies. Passengers will also be able to access, through its Casablanca hub, an extensive international network that includes destinations in Africa, America, and the Middle East.
Royal Air Maroc was the first African airline to join oneworld in 2020.
These new routes not only facilitate travel between Spain and Morocco but also contribute to boosting economic, tourist, and cultural exchanges, strengthening the historical ties between both countries. The inauguration is part of Royal Air Maroc's international expansion strategic plan, which seeks to consolidate itself as a global airline and enhance its connection hub in Casablanca.
As a member of the oneworld alliance since 2020, Royal Air Maroc has access to a network of over 900 destinations in 170 countries. Business class customers and members of the Safar Flyer loyalty program enjoy exclusive services, such as access to over 600 VIP lounges and priority boarding. Additionally, the airline has signed codeshare agreements with other international companies to improve global connectivity.
