Unicaja and the Official College of Physicians of Málaga (Commálaga) have formalized the renewal of their collaboration agreement, an alliance that will continue to support over 11,000 medical professionals in the province with a wide range of financial and non-financial solutions.

The agreement, which reinforces Unicaja's commitment to the medical community, was signed by Francisco José Reguera, the bank's territorial director in Málaga, and Pedro Navarro, president of the Málaga Medical Association. This renewal extends a relationship that has strengthened over the years, highlighting the crucial role of healthcare professionals in society.

"From Unicaja, we continue to commit to supporting medical professionals, an essential group for society, offering adapted financial solutions that contribute to the development of their activity and their stability. This agreement reinforces our commitment to Málaga and its main professional groups, key to the economic and social dynamism of the province."

Among the most significant advantages of the agreement are specific financing lines for setting up practices, modernizing facilities, and acquiring medical equipment. Additionally, members will have access to products and services under preferential conditions, designed to meet both their professional and personal needs.

"One of the highlights of this collaboration is the payment of the fees corresponding to the first year of membership that the entity makes to young doctors. It is, without a doubt, a great help at a crucial moment, when they begin in the exercise of the medical profession."

Pedro Navarro · President of the Málaga Medical Association
The collaboration between both institutions also includes the payment of the registration fee and the first year's membership for new Medicine graduates, thus facilitating their entry into the profession. This initiative underscores support for young professionals at a fundamental stage of their careers.
The renewal of this agreement aligns with Unicaja's strategy to place the client at the center of its activity and collaborate with professional and business organizations to foster employment, entrepreneurship, and economic activity in Málaga, a province with which it maintains strong ties. The Málaga Medical Association, with over 145 years of history, brings together more than 11,000 medical professionals and has its headquarters in the capital, as well as delegations in various points of the province, including Álora, Antequera, Marbella, Ronda, and Vélez-Málaga.
